Mark Ball serves as a lay leader (catechist) of Missio Dei, an emerging multi-cultural urban congregation in the heart of Houston, TX. Over the last 15 years and with the constant help of his wife Jessalyn, Mark has led ministries to children, youth, college students, and adults. Together they have four boys.

Nate serves on staff with Greenhouse Collegiate Fellowship. His passion is to multiply campus congregations centered on the Gospel, Community, and Mission to reach college students in need of the transforming love of Christ. He currently is gearing up for a new congregation at UIC that he and his wife will start. Alongside ministry, Nate started a small juggling business in 2008 and performs at many venues including Navy Pier and Six Flags. Nate is married an enjoys spending a lot of time with his wife, Sarah.

Sarah is on staff with Greenhouse Collegiate Fellowship. Sarah came to know the Lord in college at the University of Illinois, and has a passion for reaching college students with the Gospel. She is currently gearing up for a new congregation at UIC that she and her husband will start. Sarah graduated with a double major in International Business and Marketing, and enjoys playing soccer, creating random projects found on Pinterest, and learning to cook. Her favorite thing to do though is to spend time with her husband!

Ken Hanna serves as lay leader (catechist) pioneering in Spanish congregations at Rey de Paz in central El Paso. Partnering with him is his wife, Esmeralda. Ken and Esmeralda both graduated from Moody Bible Institute in Chicago. They served in youth ministry for 6 years while starting a mission in Juarez, Mexico. Ken and Esmeralda have four children.

Kim is a lay evangelist at Hope Anglican Fellowship in Hudson, WI. Previously, Kim spent 15 years in sales, marketing and corporate training positions with several large corporations and earned an MBA from Pepperdine University. Currently, she lives with her husband and two daughters in rural western Wisconsin, where she devotes herself to homeschooling them and to the “business” of planting a church.

Kate McDonald is an active participant in three Chicagoland congregations, fully using her lay evangelist gift to reach out to those around her, including college students and nursing home residents. Having graduated from Wheaton College, she lives in Chicago and works in the foster care system.

Jens is the lay leader (catechist) of Church of the Redeemer at Northwestern, a position he has held since graduating in 2009 with a degree in Mechanical Engineering.  Along with serving at the Northwestern he both facilitates and consults with other congregations regionally and nationally and is planting more congregations on college campuses in the coming months and years.  Jens grew up on a dairy farm near Madison, Wisconsin and enjoys taking time off to be with his family and work on the farm.

Zach serves as a lay leader (catechist) for the congregation at Briar Street and New Generation. By day, Zach works as an employment counselor, helping refugees from other countries find and keep their first job in the United States. He loves moving fast on bikes, on skis, in a sailboat, or in a pair of running shoes.

Alan Thompson is lay leader (catechist) at the new Oak Park congregation in Chicagoland. He served as a short-term missionary at summer English camps for teens in Poland in 2004, 2005 and 2007. He enjoys ministering with his wife Beth, the Greenhouse administrator. Alan works as a news writer and television producer.

Will is a senior studying psychology at Northwestern University. He leads the newly-formed Mather Anglican Church in a retirement home in Evanston. Outside of school, Will loves running, writing letters, and cooking (especially chili and chicken potpie). In addition to serving with Redeemer, he leads an InterVarsity small group in his dorm.

Alex is the lay leader (catechist) of a congregation in Chicago’s Logan Square neighborhood. Alex is a Texas native with a B.A. in Philosophy from Wheaton College. He was raised Southern Baptist before he, along with his whole family, joined the Anglican Church in 2006. He works as a faculty assistant at Chicago-Kent College of Law.

Mimi was born in Chicago to an Ecuadorian family. She just became the first college graduate in her family, graduating from Wheaton College with a Biology degree. She has a passion for the least of these and hopes to be able to impact the Hispanic community in the Chicagoland area through her work with Greenhouse in a year-long internship.

Rev. Matt Arndt serves as Rector of Bread of Life Anglican Church in Madison, WI. He holds a B.A. from the University of Wisconsin in English and an MDiv. from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School and he still can't read a lick of Latin. He is married to Sue and they have four sons, who, even though they span twelve years, all wear the same waist size in their jeans, which is convenient. He likes football, probably too much, and enjoys making pens out of exotic woods.

Rev. Tom Duncan is President of Northwood University in West Palm Beach, FL. He has pastored Anglican churches previously in Hudson, Wisconsin, Saint Louis and St. Charles, Missouri.  Tom holds a Ph.D. degree from the University of Arizona in Tucson, and a Master’s degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia.  He is married to Rita and has three children: Jon, Elizabeth, and Jaime.

The Rev. Alvaro Jinete pastors Santa María in Franklin Park and Wheaton, IL. He and his wife Erlina are originally from Colombia and have two grown children. As one of the leaders who has been in Greenhouse the longest, he has helped start multiple Hispanic congregations over the years in Chicago. He has a passion for bringing new life to traditional liturgy and for using Latin American traditions as a bridge to the Gospel.

Jonathan is a recently-ordained Priest who has helped plant several congregations in Chicagoland: Iglesia de la ResurrecciónBriar Street Anglican, and Parroquia de San Marcos, and New Generation. He also serves as a facilitator for ¡Caminemos Juntos!, an initiative of Anglican 1000. He grew up in Latin America as a missionary kid and graduated from Wheaton College.

Mike Niebauer serves as Rector of Redeemer Chicago Anglican Parish, a parish with multiple congregations in Chicago. He planted Church of the Redeemer at Northwestern in 2005, and has since helped launch 3 additional congregations. In addition to ministering, Mike is a string bass player and has performed with local and touring acts for 6 years. Born and raised in State College, PA, he has a B.A. in Political Science and Economics from Northwestern University and is currently pursuing a M.A. in Historical Theology from Wheaton College.
