I was raised in a home that made faith in Christ a priority. I knew Jesus from a young age. From as young as I can remember, I was a member of Community Baptist Church in Rancho Cucamonga. I learned what it meant to follow Christ there, and I followed him throughout my life. From High School on, I knew I was going to be a pastor.
In March 2006, I married Ileana. She made me the luckiest man on the planet. We have four kids together: A five year old named Grace, a four year old named Augustine, and two year old named Zoe, and a son on the way. They keep the Linton home active and loud.
Shortly after the wedding, Ileana and I headed off to Dallas Theological Seminary, where I received a Th.M with a concentration in Historical Theology in May 2009. We have been serving Christ’s Church in Yucaipa, CA ever since and have been blessed to see God grow that church by over 100 percent through our ministry.
I believe that the Gospel has the capacity to completely transform lives and a community through union with the Lord Jesus. As we press into oneness with the God who loves his creation, he remakes us into something brand new. As people united with God, everything we touch gets made new. I am all about helping people walk into greater union with the God who loves them, so that they can bless the world in his name.
